Fall is a busy time for Women in Faith at Kenmore UMC!
Sunday December 8
Sunday, December 8 is the annual UWF cookie sale so START YOUR OVENS!
I hope lots of you are baking so we have lots of cookies to sell. Please bring at least 50 cookies of each recipe you make. They can be delivered to the kitchen parlor anytime before 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 7. Please put your name on containers you want returned and they will be left on the counter of the parlor kitchen for pick-up Sunday. Tins of cookies will be available in the Upper Room after the service for $10.
Don't forget! Next Sunday, December 8 is the last day to order your Scrips Gift Cards. Purchase cards for gifts, or for your own use for everyday purchases. Forms are available in the library, on-line, or email Cindy to have a form emailed to you.

December 15
UWF is partnering with the youth to present an afternoon of Christmas fun on. The youth will be holding a pasta l& meatball luncheon after church to support Mattie Stamm in her fund raising for the Mission of Peace trip she will participate in, in February. Mattie will present an all church program after she returns. Watch for details in March.
After lunch, UWF is sponsoring an all church Christmas Sing-Along and some entertainment by the Celebration players. Please plan to join us in singing some of your favorite Christmas Carols and Christmas songs and enjoy an afternoon of festive fellowship!
Thanksgiving Pies
Order your frozen pies for Thanksgiving. Homemade Pumpkin, Apple Crumb, and Double-crust Apple
all made by the Pie Ladies of UWF.
The apple pies are ready to be baked; no one will know you didn’t make it yourself and your house will smell so good!!

It isn't Christmas without Christmas Cookies!
UWF will once again be offering their delicious Christmas cookies for $10 a box, Sunday, December 8, after the church service.
CALLING ALL COOKIE BAKERS! - We need lots of bakers to provide the cookies (50 of each recipe), which should be
dropped off on Friday, December 6 or on Saturday, December 7 by 9:30 am before packaging begins.

Who Are the United Women in Faith?
NEW YORK, N.Y., Mar. 2, 2022: United Methodist Women is now United Women in Faith! The move is part of a refreshing of the organization that includes a new logo and an array of new and improved programs to nurture current members and welcome new women to join to put their love in action on behalf of women, children, and youth.
The new programs are fruits of research conducted over the past five years with more than 24,000 United Methodists and women of other Christian traditions participating in the surveys, focus groups and interviews. This input informed the prayerful discernment of staff and elected leaders.
The organization remains incorporated in New York as United Methodist Women and is doing business as United Women in Faith.
United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
At Kenmore UMC, we meet monthly to share a meal and a program. We hold annual events & fundraisers which support a variety of mission projects. The UWF has small groups (circles) that provide fellowship and education encouraging support of women, youth and children.
