SOUPER Bowl Of Caring - Sunday February 9
As millions of people tune in to watch the Super Bowl, we’re also tuning in to the needs of our neighbors. The Souper Bowl of Caring is about taking action to fight hunger at the local level, ensuring that no one has to go without the food they need.
Help us reach our goal of making a difference in our communities. Whether you're a sports fan or not, it's a chance to be part of something bigger.
Bring in cans of hearty soups Sunday February 9 or drop them off in the Food Pantry barrels any time. We'll have a bin in the back of the sanctuary next Sunday and a Soup Can for monetary donations.
6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke ,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked , to clothe him ,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Isaiah 58:6-7
