"God of love, help us to remember that Christ has no body now on earth but ours,
no hands but ours, no feet but ours.
Ours are the eyes to see the needs of the world.
Ours are the hands with which to bless everyone now.
Our are the feet with which he is to go about doing good."
Saint Teresa of Avila (1515 - 1582)
KUMC Mission Team Christmas Alternative Gift
The Mission Team @ Kenmore UMC has chosen UMCOR Disaster Response Emergency Relief for Ukraine as the Christmas Alternative for 2022. Emergency relief includes whatever affected households and displaced families need the most at any given time. Food, household goods, water, cash programs, emergency sanitation measures, hygiene, and work with internally displaced populations are all examples of emergency relief in times of war. 100 % of all contributions go directly to the designated cause. Please write UMCOR-Ukraine on the memo line on your check, write in Advance #982450-Ukraine, or put UMCOR-Ukraine on your envelope.

Reverse Advent Calendar
The goals of the Mission Team of Kenmore United Methodist Church are to keep the congregation informed of mission needs both local and global, and to encourage participation in making life better for those in need. We did this in a variety of ways and missions including Childrens Ministry, Food Ministry, Piecemakers, School kits, health kits, Alternative giving for Christmas and Easter, to name a few.
We welcome new members and ideas.
