Traditional Worship

Traditional worship has been a hallmark at Kenmore since the building opened its doors in 1928. As you enter into the sanctuary you will be greeted by our ushers who will assist you to your seat if desired.

The opening prelude will help prepare you for worship.  Our beautiful organ music accompanies our hymns and we have a chancel choir to enhance our worship experience. Music sometimes includes our children’s choir or special guest soloists or musicians.

THE RESURRECTION – REACTION, REALITY, RELEVANCE AND RESPONSE
Sermon Series for April and May

What makes a Christian a Christian is who we say Jesus was and what occurred following his death on the cross. But this risen truth confounds us. How do we make sense of something so contrary to all we know, what do we do? Is it real or metaphorical? What does it mean for us today? And how does/should its meaning impact our lives? As followers of Christ, people of the resurrection, let us gather to enrich our understanding of this central aspect of our faith.

A children’s message is given before the younger children may leave to attend Bible Times Sunday School or during the summer stay in the service. Scriptures are read by that Sundays liturgist and can be followed in the pew Bible or on the screen in the front of the sanctuary.   Sermons are engaging and thought provoking.  Crib and Toddler Care is available from 9:15 – 12:30 on Sundays for children 4 years and younger. Ask any usher for directions.
