This is a new ministry that will give new moms here at KUMC a little helping hand once they get home from the hospital with their baby. If you would like to provide a meal for a new mom and dad in our congregation, please give Julia Volle a call the church office. They'll add your name to the list and give you a ring when there is a need.
You'll be informed of any allergies, directions for delivery, etc. You would be able to pick a date that works best into your schedule. A meal would consist of what you would consider a meal for your own family [entree, side or
salad, bread, (dessert optional)]. If you don't like to cook but would love to help, you can always pick up a prepared meal and drop it off for the new family too. Julia will coordinate several meals for the first two weeks after a new mom is home from the hospital.
