"Mums 4 Missions"

If you did not get a chance to order a mum, call ahead to see if we have any extra’s. We will order a few extra’s and it will be first come first served! This fund raiser is a win-win! Money for mission work and a beautiful plant for your home or the home of a friend who needs a long overdue thank-you!

2019 Ken-Ton Crop Walk

Sunday, October 13 starting at 1:30 pm Kenmore United Methodist Church.  This annual walk supports feeding ministries throughout the nation and in our community. Register on line by going to CROP and look for the KenTon walk! Gathering time is 1pm with the walk beginning at 1:30pm.

Dinner with Friends & Neighbors

Community Meal

Sunday, November 24 at 12:00 Noon
Plan to join us for lunch or help serve our neighbors and friends as we break bread and feed the spiritual, social and physical needs of others. This meal will be held in the Family Life Center.
Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Please note that: you can make “a donation in lieu of flowers” - “in honor of or in memory of” someone and have it be designated for The Network Food Pantry, The Piecemakers, The Craftsmen, The Music Scholarship Fund, etc. Please fill out the back of the green flower order form to sign up, or call the office at 875-5091!

Piecemakers and Craftsmen
These dedicated groups of Quilters and Craftsmen will be returning officially on Friday, Sept. 6th. They meet every Friday, 9:00 am until about noon and always welcome new members, so please stop by and see what they are up to! You’re sure to find welcoming smiles, friendly talk, coffee and much more!

Network Food Pantry

Please note that we welcome donations to the Network Food Pantry at any time. There is a barrel in the Asbury Wing for donations , as well as a basket in the back of the Sanctuary. Canned items are always appreciated, as are donations of peanut butter, and packaged foods. We also participate in certain special collections of food throughout the year. Thank you for your support!

United Methodist Women

Thursday, October 3 at 12:15 p.m.

There will be no September luncheon due to the foyer construction efforts. In October, we will enjoy a delicious lunch with wonderful friends and an interesting program to follow! Jean Schnirel, our luncheon speaker, is planning a fun and entertaining program United Methodist Women welcomes all women and promises a pleasant and informative time. Join us! As we start our 2019-2020 schedule please contact Debbie Koch at debkoch5@gmail.com for more information about UMW, including monthly programs, activities and small group circles.

Buy Gift Cards from hundreds of vendors!

This new UMW program will help support the many missions we donate to. You will have the opportunity to purchase retail gift cards at their face value. The UMW will earn 1 – 17% of the gift card value; retailers donate varied percent-ages. These gift cards can be used for everyday purchases, for purchasing holiday gifts, or for direct gift giving. There are over 700 retailers to choose from, but a few examples are:
Amazon, AMC Theatres, Applebee’s, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Bon-Ton, Burger King, CVS, Dunkin Do-nuts, Exxon, Penney’s, Jo-Ann, Kohls, Lowe’s, Office Depot, Olive Garden, Panera, Pep Boys, Petco, Rite Aid, Sears, Subway, Sunoco, Target, Tim Hortons.
