September brings the first UMW Luncheon. It will be Thursday, September 9 at noon. Inner and Janus Circles will host the lunch.

The UMW Executive Board will meet Thursday, September 2 at 9:30 in the Parlor.
UMW Rummage Sale
The UMW Rummage Sale will be on October 16. If you’ve helped before, we hope you will be willing to help again. We accept any clean, useable items in decent shape except for adult clothing, exercise equipment, old records, large furniture and reference books or textbooks. However, clothing can be put in the box in the Wesley Room marked Asbury Shalom Zone. Computers don’t usually sell well either. We suggest you find an agency that recycles them.

Fall Festival

and parking lot will be
transformed with a pumpkin patch, a craft table, face painting, some special music and more.
In the kitchen, we will have a
chili sale as well. We are
planning a time for you and the community to have a taste of the sweetness of our God that we find in Kenmore United Methodist Church.

Meet N’ Mingle
Our church wide Meet n’ Mingle will be held in the gym on Sunday, October 31— - All Saints Eve! Please mark your calendars now so you will be sure to attend this special event!
Senior Fellowship

Mr. John Percy will share with us a program on the Western New York Region. Come and join in fellowship and share a meal with friends.
PIECEMAKERS
Kenmore United Methodist Piecemakers have been very busy during the summer months making quilts for children, adults and also a new project called "Arms of Love" for Hospice patients. They have also been making items to be sold at their Fall Craft Sale at the Harvest Fair and also for the November United Methodist Women's meeting, It will be wonderful to have everyone back together in the fall on Friday mornings in Fellowship Hall.
Special news: There will be a quilting retreat at Chautauqua the last weekend of September. Call Sally Grove for further information. And, look for an article about our cookbook elsewhere in this newsletter.
